About this research site

Dr. Maria Valois is a highly skilled and enthusiastic researcher with a focus on diabetes and obesity medicine. Born and raised in Montreal, she earned her PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from McGill University, followed by her Medical Degree from the University of Montreal. After completing a Fellowship in Internal Medicine at McGill, she gained additional expertise through a Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Toronto. This combination of scientific and medical knowledge has made her a well-rounded researcher in drug development. Dr. Valois is thrilled to be part of the top-notch research team at Power Clinical Research and Theo Medical, and to be back in Montreal where she can use her expertise to improve patients’ lives.
